"Speedrunner" is a large 25 ft. diesel semi-skipper with echo sounder and chart plotter. The extremely seaworthy boat with self-draining deck and railing also has a front cabin. The technology with a good Volvo turbo diesel engine gives the heavy and safe boat a powerful drive. All units have been converted for fishing with a rod. A filleting board and a fish tank are on board and the boat is suitable for up to 5 anglers. Life jackets / aids are available for all sizes. You can buy tax-free diesel fuel in Vanse. (Automatic petrol station, only with EC or credit card and PIN). The boat is moored in the harbour in the Nordstranda complex.
Important: You will receive instruction in boating techniques on site, as well as practical sailing exercises if required. The rental period of the boat is linked to the rental period of the holiday home, the minimum rental period is always 7 days.

Additional boat costs:
Included are the costs for boat rental, mooring and inventory as described, hull insurance with up to 1000 Euro excess depending on boat type and insurance, the necessary safety equipment and equipment according to Norwegian law.
Excluded and not included in the rental price: Insurance for occupants and accident cover, personal liability insurance, excess cover, consumables, fuel and lubricants.
Note: For uneconomical and very fast trips, boats consume significantly more fuel.
Rental deposit in cash:
The rental deposit is 350 euros, which must be paid directly on site when the boat is picked up and will be refunded to the renter immediately if the rental property is returned free of defects.
Boat insurance - hull insurance:
Hull insurance is usually taken out for the boat. The excess in the event of damage is up to 1000 euros, depending on the boat. The amount of the excess may vary and must be requested from the respective boat owner when taking over the boat and documented on the checklist. Personal belongings are not insured. The insurance is not liable for accidental damage suffered by persons traveling on the rental property. The renter is liable for damage to and loss of the boat if the damage is not covered by the insurance. Damage also includes consequential damage. The lessor/owner may retain the deposit paid until the damage has been repaired. The excess per case of damage is to be borne by the renter and may differ from the deposit. If the boat is returned free of defects, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Any damage not covered by the deposit or insurance must be replaced by the hirer immediately before departure. The hirer undertakes to notify the lessor/owner immediately of any damage, collisions, other unusual incidents or complaints.
Boating license:
For guests born before 01.01.1980, no license for motorboats of this class is required in Norway. For younger persons, a boating license for boats with more than 25 hp is mandatory.
Binding rules of conduct - liability of the hirer:
We expect the skipper to abstain from alcohol on board.
The hirer is liable for damage caused by themselves and also for all damage caused by other users of the boat. The use of the boat is at the hirer's and all other users own risk. The hirer shall inform his crew in good time that they may need to take out appropriate insurance against loss events themselves before the start of the trip. In addition, the skipper must familiarize the crew with the boat technology and the terms of the contract and ensure that all passengers wear life jackets on the trips.
If fish cleaning is to be carried out on the boat or on an appropriate filleting table on the jetty, please dispose of the fish waste at sea and not in the harbour basin. Always cover fish waste (seagulls).
Restriction of area:
Voyages are only permitted in the adjacent and suitable waters of the home port and near the coast.
A minimum distance of 150 meters must be maintained from fish farms or similar facilities. Failure to comply with the navigation rules may result in immediate termination of the tenancy by the lessor/owner. Claims of the tenant are therefore deemed forfeited.
Cleaning the boat:
The hirer must carry out the thorough final cleaning of the boat themselves. The Hirer shall return the boat in the same clean condition in which it was handed over by the Rental Firm.
