The boat is always handed over and returned at the main berth.
The rental period of the boat is bound to the rental period of the vacation home, to other objects only on request.

For sea fishing there is enough space for 4-5 anglers on the boat. Thanks to the stable design with very good stability, the boat Oien is stable and safe on the water even when fishing and has fantastic seaworthiness. The 50 hp 4-stroke engine takes the boat up to approx. 25 knots and offers optimum conditions for successful fishing trips and excursions into the fjords and out to sea. Thanks to the sleek hull shape, you can reach the best fishing spots in the region quickly, safely and quite comfortably. With its large, open deck and high freeboard, Oien is probably one of the best fishing boats in Norway. In rough seas, a solid steering position provides the driver with good protection against wind and waves. The boat can also be driven without a license if the skipper was born before 1980.
Additional boat costs:
Included are the costs for boat rental, mooring and inventory as described, hull insurance according to Norwegian law with up to 1000 Euro excess depending on boat type and insurance, the necessary safety equipment and equipment according to Norwegian law.
Excluded and not included in the rental price: Insurance for passengers and accident cover, personal liability insurance, excess cover, consumables, fuel and lubricants.
Rental deposit in cash:
The rental deposit is NOK 3500 (350 euros), which must be paid directly on site when the boat is taken over and will be refunded to the renter when the rental property is returned free of defects.
Boat insurance - hull insurance:
The boat is generally covered by hull insurance in accordance with Norwegian law. The excess in the event of damage is up to 1000 euros, depending on the boat. The amount of the excess may vary and must be requested from the respective boat owner when taking over the boat and documented on the checklist. Personal belongings are not insured. The insurance is not liable for accidental damage suffered by persons traveling on the rental property. The renter is liable for damage to and loss of the boat if the damage is not covered by the insurance. Damage also includes consequential damage. The lessor/owner may retain the deposit paid until the damage has been repaired. The excess per case of damage is to be borne by the renter and may differ from the deposit. If the boat is returned free of defects, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Any damage not covered by the deposit or insurance must be replaced by the hirer immediately before departure. The hirer undertakes to notify the lessor/owner immediately of any damage, collisions, other unusual incidents or complaints.

Boating license:
For guests born before 01.01.1980, no license for motorboats of this class is required in Norway. For younger persons, a boating license for boats with more than 25 hp is mandatory.
Binding rules of conduct - renter's liability:
For your own safety, we recommend that you refrain from drinking alcohol on board.
The renter is liable for any damage caused by themselves and also for any damage caused by other users of the boat. The use of the boat is at the hirer's and all other users own risk. The hirer shall inform his crew in good time that they may need to take out appropriate insurance against loss events themselves before the start of the trip. In addition, the skipper must familiarize the crew with the boat technology and the terms of the contract and ensure that all passengers wear life jackets on the trips.
Fish cleaning should take place on the boat or on an appropriate filleting table on the jetty, please dispose of fish waste at sea and not in the harbour basin. Always cover fish waste (seagulls).
Restriction of area:
Voyages are only permitted in the adjacent and suitable waters of the home port and near the coast.
A minimum distance of 100 meters must be maintained from fish farms or similar facilities. Failure to comply with the navigation rules may result in immediate termination of the tenancy by the lessor/owner. Claims of the tenant are therefore deemed forfeited.
Cleaning the boat:
The hirer must carry out the thorough final cleaning of the boat themselves. We recommend cleaning the boat after every fishing trip. The hirer shall return the boat in the same clean and refueled condition as it was handed over by the rental company.
