Included is a boat 23 ft Dolmoy Fisker, built 2018 with new 70 hp outboard engine mod. 2023. The Dolmoy 230 is a large 7 meter long and 2.50 meter wide pilothouse boat, economical, with depth sounder, fishing equipment, rod holder, max. load 500 KG (approx. 4-5 anglers), FS-free before birth. Date 1980, max. speed 20 knots. The rough water suitable cabin boat also allows long trips in cooler temperatures. The rod holders are located on the cabin. The free bow shape means that 1 angler can also fish comfortably at the front. Life jackets / aids are available.
General information about the property:
"Nils Hytte" is situated in a sunny secluded location, about 10 meters above the shore of Sirevåg Bay, almost at the exit of Nordsund. The great location in front of the well-known Eigerøy peninsula near Egersund is an advantage, and the distance to the best fishing areas on the open sea is very short. After passing Nordsunde around Eigerøy, you have the option of taking a boat to the estuary areas towards the sea or towards Egersund. In the estuary of the famous salmon river Bjerkreimselva near Egersund, also known as Tengs, the salmon fishing is excellent in the season. The cozy Hytten-style house is surrounded by planted rock formations and rhododendrons and is elevated about 10 meters above sea level. On the water side there is a large terrace with awning and a view of the bay. There are well-tended natural gardens and sheltered seating areas by the house. The jetty below the house with fish cleaning area, bathing area etc. is well maintained and as good as new. Here is also the boat to the house, which is still being purchased.
After you have made an appointment, the owner will be waiting for you in the parking lot 130 meters opposite the property and will take you and your luggage to the house via a pleasant path. There is also a handcart. You could say that this vacation location really has everything you need for a perfect vacation. Important: To cover the drastic increase in energy costs, we have to charge an additional 8 euros per day. These costs are added when the booking is made. Charging hybrid or e-cars via the house electricity is not permitted and is only allowed at the approved charging stations.
Included: The costs for boat rental, Internet WLAN (if offered in the property), accommodation, electricity for normal household management and water are included in the price.
Excluded and not included in the rental price: Final cleaning, insurance for occupants and accident cover, personal liability insurance, excess protection, consumables. Firewood is not included in the rental price for properties with wood-burning stoves and can be purchased at local prices if required.

The tenant must carry out the thorough final cleaning themselves before moving out.

Deposit:
The rental deposit is 350 euros, this is to be paid directly on site when moving in and will be refunded to the tenant when the rental property is returned free of defects when moving out.
House-specific information:
1 pet is permitted on request, for a fee! All houses and apartments are non-smoking properties.
Children are very welcome, a baby travel crib is available free of charge if required.
Please make sure that the comforter covers and fitted sheets are the right size.
For hygienic reasons, we would ask you not to use sleeping bags under any circumstances!
Fish cleaning must be carried out on the boat or on an appropriate filleting table at the property. Gutting and scaling fish in the house is not permitted. Fish waste must be disposed of at sea and not in the harbor basin.
Fishing:
Directly in front of the jetties, there are promising opportunities for fishing for flatfish and sea fish, depending on the tide and time of year. As the sound is only a few hundred meters wide and therefore relatively sheltered from the wind, boat fishing is possible in all weathers. The sea fish are rich in species and numerous in the sounds because they are supplied with plenty of food by the sound currents. The Eigerøy peninsula, surrounded by water and fish, lies off Egersund and is a great spot for sea fishing from a boat at any time of year. To the north of Eigerøy is a very good fishing area with mostly good plateaus and a sandy bottom. Halibut are also present in good sizes around the island of Eigerøy.
The incoming salmon have to pass through the narrows of the Sunde to be able to ascend into the nearby rivers at Egersund. To outwit these magnificent lone fighters, you can also fish with trolled plugs, spoons and flies or natural baits such as mackerel flakes and pieces of coalfish, or fish for char. The Norwegian salmon river Bjerkreim (Teng) flows through the municipality of the same name in the province of Rogaland in the southern part of western Norway and flows into the town of Egersund. The river is regularly regarded as one of the best salmon rivers in Norway due to its good catch figures. Many smaller salmon between 1 and 5 kilograms are hooked, and in good conditions you can regularly hope for bites - fish between 4 and 12 kilograms are also possible. Overall, the clear Bjerkreimselva promises exciting fishing in beautiful natural surroundings, surrounded by rocky mountain ranges.
For some years now, Norwegians have also been fishing by hand in Tengs harbor, mainly for cod, saithe or sea trout, and occasionally mackerel or salmon. In winter, it is traditional to fish for cod through holes in the ice.
Important: Trips on the open sea should always be well planned and the weather must be suitable. There is an absolute ban on alcohol when boating. Visit the rivers for salmon and trout fishing, but also the large freshwater lakes in the area (observe closed seasons, daily permits required). Tip:
For fishing trips to the north-western sound exit, Gyrahavn (north above the island of Horsholmen) is a great place for a picnic. Public toilets, a hut with a fireplace and firewood, several barbecues, a climbing net for children, beautiful viewpoints and a large jetty leave nothing to be desired. An ideal place to linger so that you don't have to drive the entire sound back to the house for your lunch break. So you can get straight back into the afternoon fishing.

Activities: Recommended journey - ferries: How to get there 2nd route from Stavanger:
The fine sandy beaches around Eigeroy are well-known and invite you to sunbathe and swim. There are also exciting hiking trails. The peninsula has a lot to offer, as there are exciting photo opportunities everywhere. We highly recommend an evening visit to the restaurants and pubs in Egersund (10 km), as the Norwegian cuisine is excellent. Or visit the many maritime hotels. At the weekend there is live music and dancing in many towns. The shopping centers have everything you need and you can store to your heart's content. When filling up with petrol, please note that you can usually only pay by card (Visa and Mastercard with PIN). Other petrol stations and ATMs are easy to find in the town. In addition to restaurants, pubs and dance bars, Egersund offers a varied pedestrian zone with many stores and other attractions. 1. route from Kristiansand:
After leaving the ferry/customs from Kristiansand, follow the signs to Flekkefjord / Stavanger / Egersund (E 39, approx. 190 KM). At the sign for Egersund, turn left onto RV 42 / Krossmoveien. Shortly before reaching Eigeroy there is a gas station on the left. Then take the traffic circle in the direction of Bryne Hellvik on Eigeroyveien and continue for 10 km on Jærveien / road 44. Turn left here onto Maurholsveien and continue for another 3 km to your destination. The meeting point with the owner is at the PP.

Additional boat costs:
Included are also the costs for mooring and boat inventory, hull insurance with up to 1000 Euro excess depending on boat type and insurance, the necessary safety equipment and equipment according to Norwegian law.
Included and not included in the rental price: Insurance for passengers and accident cover, personal liability insurance, excess cover, consumables, fuel and lubricants.
Boat insurance - hull:
Your boat is covered by hull insurance. The excess in the event of damage is 1000 euros. The type of cover and the amount of the excess may vary and must be requested from the respective boat owner when taking over the boat and documented on the checklist. Personal belongings are not insured. The Koasko insurance is not liable for accidental damage suffered by persons traveling on the rental property. The renter is liable for damage to and loss of the boat if the damage is not covered by the insurance. Damage also includes consequential damage. The lessor/owner may retain the deposit paid until the damage has been repaired. The excess per case of damage is to be borne by the renter and may differ from the deposit. If the boat is returned free of defects, the deposit will be refunded immediately. Any damage not covered by the deposit or insurance must be replaced by the hirer immediately before departure. The hirer undertakes to notify the lessor/owner immediately of any damage, collisions, other unusual incidents or complaints.
Boating license:
For guests born before 01.01.1980, no license for motorboats of this class is required in Norway. For younger persons, a boating license for boats with more than 25 hp is mandatory.
Binding rules of conduct - liability of the hirer:
We expect the skipper not to drink alcohol on board. This is solely for your safety.
The hirer is liable for any damage caused by themselves and also for any damage caused by other users of the boat. The use of the boat is at the renter's and all other users own risk. The hirer shall inform his crew in good time that they may need to take out appropriate insurance against loss events themselves before the start of the trip. In addition, the skipper must familiarize the crew with the boat technology and the terms of the contract and ensure that all passengers wear life jackets on the trips.
If fish cleaning is to be carried out on the boat or on an appropriate filleting table on the jetty, please dispose of the fish waste at sea and not in the harbour basin. Always cover fish waste (seagulls).
Restriction of area:
Voyages are only permitted in the adjacent and suitable waters of the home port and near the coast.
A minimum distance of 100 meters must be maintained from fish farms or similar facilities. Failure to comply with the navigation rules may result in immediate termination of the tenancy by the lessor/owner. Claims of the tenant are therefore deemed forfeited.
Cleaning the boat:
The hirer must clean the boat thoroughly after each outing. The hirer returns the boat in a refueled and cleaned condition, as it was handed over by the lessor. We would like to expressly point out that GRP boats should not be entered with black, staining soles. Cleaning afterwards is very difficult and requires a great deal of work on your part. We charge 150 euros for a boat that has not been properly cleaned.
